I'VE SENT YOU A COUPLE OF EMAILS AND NOT HEARD ANYTHING BACK YET: ANYBODY THERE?
We are really busy and there's only 2 of us, not an army of minions! Be patient and we will get back to you ASAP. Keep hassling us if necessary. |
WHAT ABOUT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
We've sold our frames all over the world and are able to send just about anywhere. We'll always try our best to get you the best deal on shipping and if you're outside of the EU, you'll not get charged VAT. It's up to you to figure out what import charges you're like to incur. The duty tariff code for a bicycle frame is 8714.91.XX |

WHAT FORK LENGTH IS YOUR GEOMETRY QUOTED FOR?
Sirius and Scion geometry is based on an axle-to-crown length of 480mm. To calculate the geometry based on your own fork selection, there's a really good tool here.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SIRIUS R853 AND SCION R853?
Both frames are basically the same but the Sirius has sliding dropouts (for gears, singlespeed or internal gear hubs) and the Scion has 'standard' vertical dropouts for gears and 16mm seat stays. The weight difference is approximately 350g/0.8 lbs
ARE YOUR FRAMES COMPATABLE WITH THE ALFINE OR ROHLOFF HUBS?
We offer Rohloff inserts for our Sirius frame so contact us for more details. Currently our frames do not offer dedicated cable routing for the Alfine or Rohloff (but we're working on this for future models). The Scion can be adapted to work with an internal gear hub (using a chain tensioner) but sliding dropouts are best suited for this set-up.

DO YOU OFFER YOUR BIKES FULLY BUILT?
Half the fun of buying a frame-only is deciding exactly which components you want to specify for your 'semi-custom' build. We're more than willing to help you out and can source a number of components so if you should buy these from us as a 'bundle' you can score a great deal. Send us your parts wish-list and we'll give you a quote.
ARE YOU ABLE TO OFFER CUSTOM FINISHES ON YOUR STEEL FRAMES?
Our custom finishing work in the UK is done by Argos in Bristol. We can offer a discount off their published prices but there's others out there who also offer frame finishing/renovation services. Incidentally, we once had a frame painted at a tyre and exhaust centre that powdercoated car wheels so if you're creative, there's other options.
CAN YOU RECOMMEND A FRAME BUILDER WHO CAN MODIFY MY FRAME?
Once again, we'd recommend Argos (Bristol) or Shand Cycles (Falkirk) but there's others if you search the web.
WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO DO A STEEL 29ER?
Okay okay, we're working on it. In the meantime, check out our Ti 29er which is a peach and can be customised to your exact requirements.
I'VE SEEN SOME ALU' AND CARBON PIPEDREAM FRAMES: WHY ARE THESE NOT ON YOUR WEBSITE?
We've tested and dabbled with a few models (MTB and road) but generally we sell these in Asia only. Every so often we'll have some come through the UK so ask if you're interested.
WHERE ARE YOUR TI FRAMES MADE?
Our frames are generally built in China or Taiwan by companies that have been the industry for years. We've also had frames built in the USA and Russia.

I'M A RETALER/IMPORTER/ENTERPRSING INDIVIDUAL: ARE YOU LOOKING FOR DEALERS/DISTRIBUTORS?
We're always looking for ways to make our frames more widely available so if you're a shop, distributor or importer, talk to us. |
